Photo of the Month!

The remote Suguta Valley lies directly south of Lake Turkana, in northern Kenya, and is considered one of the hottest places on earth.  Geologists have long been fascinated with this incredible part of the Great Rift Valley .. and it's not hard to understand why!

Tropic Air's heli pilots take a few lucky people here every year, and despite knowing the area well (or so they think) the changing landscape and weather patterns mean that new treasures are constantly found.  Last month we came across this amazing red lake .. we are not entirely sure why it's red, but perhaps it's due to an algae boom?
